So I just walked into the Daily Globe office a little bit ago. I’m helping out on the news desk tonight, so I’ll be in the office until late tonight, so I get to come in a little late today.
Yesterday was kind of fun. I was able to go out in the snowy world and take video, which you can see here. I don’t like going out in the snow, unless I have to. But I was happy with how the video turned out.
I do have a few things on tap today. One of which is to find someone to interview for our diversity series, which will appear in Tuesday’s paper.
The other item on the agenda today is working on my annual report story. For those who don’t know, the annual report is a collection of stories featuring people, places and things from the area. One of the stories I was assigned was to write a story on Julie Ailts, who is a first-grade teacher at Prairie Elementary.
I didn’t know Julie before our interview, but she was a very interesting person and had many great stories to share. I’m hoping to make the story reflect her passion for teaching.
Well, that’s all for now. It’s back to the story.
